The Gila River Indian Community is an Indian reservation on the south side of Phoenix. Established in 1859, the community is home to members of both the Akimel O’otham (Pima) and the Pee-Posh (Maricopa) tribes. Gila River Indian Community provides a variety of attractions, from championship golf courses to three Las Vegas-style gaming casinos to Rawhide at Wild Horse Pass and Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park.
