Master Plan Project Information
An Airport Master Plan is a comprehensive, long-range planning document that serves as a guide for future airport growth and demand. The Plan looks to anticipate necessary airport facilities and infrastructure over the next
10-year and 20-year planning horizons in a logical and financially feasible manner. The previous master plan was completed in 2008. This updated master plan draft was completed in 2019 in coordination
with Mead & Hunt, Inc., FAA, ADOT and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport staff, and will be scheduled for acceptance by the PMGAA Board of Directors in 2020.
